We have built a sophisticated Online Assessment and Training Portal to help us build a team of Java J2EE developers.
The programme is arranged in several parts. The first is called Java Fundamentals and comprises 23 exercises which must be completed in eight weeks. This tests your knowledge to see if you can continue to the advanced sections of the program. If you already have experience developing Java software systems then you will complete this section easily, if your knowledge is limited then you should study a book on the subject before you start. We can supply any digital copies of books you need and have a recommended reading list. During this period you can complete the majority of the assessment remotely.
On successful completion of the Java Fundamentals you will be required to complete a sql, javascript and jdeskextension course (one of our proprietary OpenSource web frameworks), and the remaining modules covering J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, EJB 2.1, EJB 3.0, Webservices, as well as several agile development techniques.
After completing these you can work on one or more of the OpenSource projects that we sponsor. These are software developments many of which are instigated and managed by senior JJ Associates. There are a number of innovative and exciting projects being developed which will give you an opportunity work on real developments with people in different locations on different continents.
